Got the transfer case and transmission crossmember bolted back in today. Pretty sure I don’t want to do that again anytime soon. Also reinstalled the transmission dipstick tube, which is held in place with a bellhousing bolt. Not sure what I think about GM engineers and their love of bellhousing bolts to hold wiring looms and other junk in place.Things I’ve Forgotten or Need to be Addressed
- Top off front diff
- Torque front hubs (174 ft lbs)
- Adjust camber via upper control arms
- Check front brake caliper bolts
- Coil wiring
- Body mount washers
- Engine oil filter
- Rear brakes
- Bleed brake
- Auto shift linkage
- Transfer case shifter bracket
- Figure out accelerator return spring
Reassembly ToDo
- Trans cooler lines
- Auto shift linkage
- Transfer case shifter bracket
- Fill transfer case (Check fluid, should be Dexron)
- Transfer case shift linkage and shifter pivot bolt
- Speedometer cable
- Reinstall Driveshafts
- Exhaust pipe
- Replace body mounts (need to order more)
- Reinstall front bumper
- Fill Transmission
- Fill Engine oil
